The half-day guided tour (morning or afternoon, to be arranged) begins with meeting your official local guide at an agreed central point near the medina or at your Riad reception (if accessible). From there, you will venture on foot into Fez el-Bali. The exact itinerary may vary according to your interests and the group's pace, but generally includes:

- Bou Inania Madrasa or Al-Attarine Madrasa: Impressive examples of Merinid architecture with detailed work in wood, stucco and zellige tiles.
- Nejjarine Fountain and Museum of Wood Arts and Crafts: A beautiful example of a public fountain and the adjacent museum.
- Chouara Tanneries (Panoramic Terrace): Observe the ancient leather tanning process, one of Fez's most emblematic crafts.
- Al-Karaouine Mosque and University (exterior): Considered one of the oldest universities in the world in continuous operation. (Entrance to the prayer hall is for Muslims only).
- Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss II (exterior): The sanctuary of Fez's founder, a place of great spiritual importance.
- Souks and artisan quarters: Stroll through the different souks (markets) organized by guilds: the dyers' souk, the coppersmiths' souk, the spices souk, etc.
During the tour, your guide will provide explanations about the history, culture, traditions and daily life in the medina. The visit is mainly on foot, so comfortable footwear is recommended.
