Tour itinerary
Day 1 : Marrakesh
Arrival at Marrakech airport where you will meet the driver who will take you to the accommodation. Rest of the day free to enjoy the city of Marrakech, knowing the medina with its hundreds of alleys and shops, the souks, the gardens and the Jemaa El Fna square, declared by UNESCO Oral Heritage of Humanity in which you can enjoy shows, musicians, storytellers, comedians, acrobats… Free lunch and dinner, accommodation in Riyadh.
Day 2: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate
Breakfast at the riad and early departure to the Atlas Mountains, going up a winding road dotted with villages with traditional stone architecture. From Tizi n Tichka (2,260m.), we will take the road to Telouet, a scattered town in which the impressive Kasbah Glaoui is surprising, an adobe palace in which the audience hall stands out. Leaving Telouet, take the road that leads to the Assif Ounila valley, a green cordon surrounded by villages with adobe architecture in which the Kasbahs with four towers stand out. Visit to the most famous of the Ksour of the valley, Ait Benhadou, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986. Continuation to Ouarzazate where the Kasbah Taourirt will be visited. Free lunch, dinner and accommodation in a riad.
Day 3 : Ouarzazate – Vallé del Draa – Alnif – Merzouga dunes
Breakfast at the riad and departure towards the Draa Valley, one of the largest palm groves in Morocco, a garden that accompanies the river for more than 100 km. Visit to the Ksar of Tamnougalt located on the banks of the Draa. Continuation of the stage along the road that runs south of Jbel Sarho in the direction of Rissani, a city where one of its many houses (Ksour) can be visited. Arrival in Merzouga before sunset, with time to enjoy the sunset. Dinner and overnight at Hotel Kasbah Azalay.
Day 4 : Merzouga – Khamlia – Visit to the Nomads - Merzouga
Breakfast at Kasbah Azalay and route with the 4×4 vehicle around the dunes, visiting the town of Khamlia, where you will enjoy traditional Gnawa music, the Mfis mines, the abandoned town of Merdani, the immense hamada, the nomadic khaimas, the small palm groves such as Hasi Labiad… In the afternoon departure with the dromedaries from Kasbah Azalay towards the Khaimas camp in the dunes, enjoying the sunset along the way. Dinner and overnight at Khaymas camp.
Day 5 : Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley
Return to Kasbah Azalay after sunrise. Breakfast and shower at the hotel. Departure towards the Dades Valley. Along the way you will visit the Khetaras de Jorf, the palm grove and the Todra gorge in Tinerhir and finally you will go up the Dades river valley stopping at its points of interest, the “Monkey’s Fingers”, the Kasbahs, the Dades gorge, the viewpoint of the curves… Dinner and accommodation in a traditional hostel or riad.
Day 6 : Dades Valley – Skoura – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
Departure after breakfast in the direction of Marrakech, visiting the Kasbah of Amerhidil in Skoura and the film studios in which renowned films such as Gladiator, The Mummy or Asterix and Cleopatra have been recorded. Then you will go up the Tizi n Tichka to reach Marrakech before sunset. Free lunch and dinner. Accommodation in riad.
