Description
North of Morocco Grand Tour is a trip in which to discover the enigmatic and mysterious Chaouen, ideal to get lost and let ourselves be carried away in the labyrinthine tetouan white dove, to finish in a relaxed way in the white Asilah where we can enjoy its sunsets by the sea.
Tour itinerary
Day 1: Tangier – Asilah
Upon arrival in Tangier, meet the driver at the port or at the city airport. Departure towards Asilah along the road that runs along the coast, visiting Cape Spartel and the cave of Hercules. Upon arrival in Asilah, after settling in the riad, free time to enjoy this pleasant and quiet medina. Free lunch and dinner, accommodation in a riad.
Day 2: Asilah – El Araich – Lixus – Asilah
Breakfast at the riad and departure to Larache. Visit the city with its small medina and its pleasant market. Continue to the Roman ruins of Lixus and return to Asilah to enjoy a free afternoon in its medina. An interesting activity in this medina is to go through its alleys in search of the different murals that are painted during the summer festival and that bring international artists. Free lunch and dinner, accommodation in a riad.
Day 3 : Asilah – Chefchaouen
Breakfast at the riad. Departure from Asilah in the direction of Chaouen along the secondary roads that cross the low hills of the Rif and the SIBE of Bouhachem, a protected natural environment made up of lush cork oak forests. Free afternoon to enjoy Chaouen with its medina painted in white and indigo, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Free lunch and dinner, accommodation in a riad.
Day 4: Chefchaouen – Chefchaouen
Breakfast at the riad and excursion to the Puente de Dios, a natural stone bridge located next to the Akchour reservoir, within the limits of the Talassemtane National Park, Intercontinental Biosphere Reserve Andalusia – Morocco. Return to Chaouen before lunch and free afternoon to continue enjoying the medina. Free lunch and dinner. Accommodation in riad.
Day 5: Chefchaouen – Tetouan
Breakfast at the riad and departure towards Tetouan, known as the White Dove, this medina, also declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, surprises with its traditional air, along its streets you can still see the division of the medina by guilds. Free lunch and dinner. Accommodation in riad.
Day 6: Tetouan – Tangier
Breakfast at the riad and transfer to Tangier. End of services at the Port or Airport of Tangier.
