Tour itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech - Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate - Valle de Rosas - Valle del Dades
Early departure from Marrakech to the Atlas Mountains, going up a winding road dotted with villages with traditional stone architecture. From the Tizi n Tichka (2260m.) the descent of the Alto Altas begins towards the desert and its adobe-architecture villages in which the Kasbahs with four towers stand out. Visit to the most famous ksar of the valley, Ait Benhadou, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986. Continuation to Dades through one of the most striking areas of the route of the Thousand Kasbahs, in Ouarzazate you can visit the Kasbah Taourirt, in Skoura and the Valley of Roses will see more roadside kasbahs. Arrival in Dades in the afternoon. Free lunch, dinner and accommodation in a riad.
Day 2: Roses Valley - Dades Valley - Todra Valley - Merzouga Dunes
Breakfast in riad and departure towards Merzouga. During this day the valleys of the south face of the High Atlas will be crossed, passing through the Mgoun River, the Dades Valley, its impressive gorge and the Fingers of the Monkey, the gorge and the palm grove of Todra, all beautiful natural landscapes that combined with traditional adobe architecture create a very attractive environment. In the mid-afternoon you will arrive at the sensual dunes of Erg Chebbi, where camels will be waiting for you to take you to the Khaymas camp where you will spend the night surrounded by sand and stars. Day 3 : Merzouga - Dra Valley - Marrakech
Sunrise in the dunes and return to Kasbah Azalay Merzouga to have breakfast and take a shower before departure to Marrakech. Leaving Merzouga, you will take the road that leads from Rissani to the Draa Valley, desert landscapes dotted with small towns and cities such as Alnif, Tazzarine or Nkob. The extensive Draa Valley surprises travelers with its lushness surrounded by such an arid environment. Stop in Tamnouglat to take a walk through the pleasant Ksar of adobe and continue going up the valley towards Ouarzazate and crossing the Tizi n Tichka, Tichka pass towards Marrakech, where you will arrive late in the afternoon.
