Our 7-day tour from Tangier to Marrakech via Chefchaouen, Fez and the desert is a fascinating adventure that will take you to discover the diverse landscapes and cultures of Morocco. Starting in Tangier, you will explore the history and beauty of the north, including the white city of Tetouan and the iconic blue city of Chefchaouen. You will visit the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis and the imperial city of Meknes before immersing yourself in the cultural richness of Fez. The route continues south through the spectacular landscapes of the Middle Atlas and the Ziz Valley until reaching the majestic dunes of Erg Chebbi in Merzouga. Here you will experience the unforgettable camel ride and a magical night in a Berber camp. The journey continues west, exploring the impressive Todra Gorges, the Dades Valley, Ouarzazate and the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, to finally cross the High Atlas Mountains and reach the vibrant city of Marrakech.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Tangier - Tetouan - Chefchaouen
Arrival at Tangier port or airport. Pickup and departure to Chefchaouen, with a stop in Tetouan, known as the "white dove" and a World Heritage Site. Arrival in Chefchaouen, the famous blue city of Morocco, in the Rif mountains. Free afternoon to explore its picturesque streets, the medina and the Outa el Hammam square. Dinner and accommodation in a Riad or hotel in Chefchaouen.
Day 2: Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknes - Fez
After breakfast, we will leave Chefchaouen and head south. We will visit the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, an impressive archaeological site. We will continue to the imperial city of Meknes, where we will see the monumental Bab Mansour gate and explore its walls and medina. Free lunch. In the afternoon, travel to Fez, the spiritual and cultural capital of Morocco. Dinner and accommodation in a Riad or hotel in Fez.
Day 3: Fez (Guided Visit)
Full day dedicated to exploring the fascinating city of Fez with an official local guide. The visit includes the labyrinthine medina (Fes el-Bali), a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Bou Anania Medersa, the Nejjarine Fountain, the famous Chouara tanners, the Karaouine Mosque (exterior) and the vibrant souks. Free lunch within the medina. Free afternoon to continue exploring on your own. Accommodation in Fez.
Day 4: Fez - Ifrane - Cedar Forest (Azrou) - Midelt - Ziz Valley - Merzouga (Desert)
After breakfast, departure south crossing the Middle Atlas mountains. We will pass through Ifrane, known as "the Switzerland of Morocco", and stop at the cedar forest near Azrou to observe Barbary macaques. We will continue to Midelt for lunch (not included). In the afternoon, the route takes us through the picturesque Ziz Valley and its palm groves to Erfoud and Rissani. Finally we will arrive in Merzouga, at the gates of the Erg Chebbi dunes. Dinner and accommodation in a hotel or Riad in Merzouga.
Day 5: Merzouga (Desert Exploration)
This day we will dedicate to exploring the Merzouga desert area. Options to visit the village of Khamlia for Gnawa music, meet nomadic families or visit fossil mines. Free lunch. In the afternoon, you will begin your camel adventure, entering the Erg Chebbi dunes to witness a spectacular sunset. Arrival at the Berber camp, where you will enjoy a traditional dinner, music around the campfire and a magical night under the stars.
Day 6: Merzouga - Rissani - Todra Gorges - Dades Valley - Ouarzazate
Wake up early to enjoy the sunrise in the dunes. Return by camel or 4x4 to Merzouga for breakfast and shower. Then, departure to Rissani and continuation to Tinghir to explore the impressive Todra Gorges. Walk through the canyon. We will continue through the Dades Valley, known as "the route of the thousand Kasbahs", and the Valley of the Roses. Arrival in Ouarzazate in the afternoon. Dinner and accommodation in a Riad or hotel in Ouarzazate.
Day 7: Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah - High Atlas Mountains - Marrakech (End of Tour)
After breakfast, visit the Taourirt Kasbah in Ouarzazate and then the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a World Heritage Site. After lunch (not included), we will cross the spectacular High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi N'Tichka pass (2260m). Arrival in Marrakech in the afternoon, where we will leave you at your accommodation, concluding this complete Morocco tour.
